We have spent 3 days in premium room with a comfy sofa and comfortable beds, as example, everything was great. We found the staff very nice and personable. The location was great and unbeatable close to everything...

Not exactly what I expected

Hearing traffic noise was distracting at night, and the door locks felt insecure due to missing deadbolts.

We likes the fact that the room very clean and had been remodeled. The staff was very nice and helpful to us. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay while visiting oakland.

First time i ever stayed at this motel. It was recommended by the gentleman at the golf course we played. I can say by far this was the cleanness motel or hotel room i have ever stayed in. The staff was great and the location was very handy for us.

Difficult time with our family in town for a funeral. Despite the bad weather, he personally cleared a parking spot for us, a tremendous help. The parking lot was a mess due to snow and ice were nice.

The room provided was clean and equipped with a microwave and refrigerator, convenient for our family. Both rooms had faulty deadbolt locks and needed door repairs, raising security concerns. The nearby restaurants offered amazing local focaccia bread, but the overall atmosphere felt somewhat rundown. Despite the issues, the check-in staff was friendly and accommodating were good.

The room was spotlessly clean, with good fishing-themed decor and a well-equipped kitchenette. The noise from the street was quite disruptive during the night.

The nearby pizza joints, especially Tomanetti's, hit the spot with their crispy crusts and flavors that make your taste buds dance. Plus, the staff was friendly and quick to help when we had a hiccup with the TV. Can't forget that the kitchenette was a lifesaver for making quick meals!

The bathroom needed some serious TLC with mold creeping up the walls, and that walk-in shower flooded like crazy due to a short curtain. Plus, the bed reminded me of sleeping on a slab of concrete and the rude front desk service just added to the woes.

I had a wonderful time staying at this cozy motel where the owner really went above and beyond by shoveling our parking space since my mom isn't steady on her feet. The room was tastefully decorated with a fun fishing theme, and I loved relaxing by the fire pit at night. Just wish the bathroom had a bit more space, but overall, it was a fantastic stay! 😊
